The completed manuscript is in the drafts folder. Completion date: April 30.
Double updates on the 26th and 27th. Updates at 9 a.m. on the 28th, 29th, and 30th.
Not that many people read this, but later I'll open a file to organize the worldbuilding. Feel free to use anything you need for reference, as long as you credit the source. Game design references are not allowed. I might try making an American-style tabletop game.
I'll talk about the next story after taking a break.
Here's the current blurb: https://www.jjwxc.net/onebook.php?novelid=8554424
It's actually the story of one of the avatars of the Ninth God.
The non-VIP chapters add up to more than 260,000 characters, but I'm not switching to a paid model.
Because everything that came before is only a prologue. I hope the best parts of my stories will always come later.
This story is a slow burn, with clashes between civilizations. The first small-scale war arc is the Legacy of Will arc;
the first large-scale geographical arc is the Land of the Demon Abyss. The story is currently in its second major arc, the Plains of a Thousand Silences.
The protagonist is a future human who is well-versed in ancient Eastern knowledge. All of his abilities develop according to the logic of Eastern knowledge.
The continent has magic, distinctive technology, and civilizations inspired by both Western fantasy and ancient peoples.
That's about it.
I'm not good at writing blurbs, so just have a look
One morning, Shen Ruo woke up to find himself in a completely unfamiliar world.
He was floating in midair. Facing him was an... unknown creature, with perfect bodily proportions and flawless features.
It was an unknown creature because, although it looked human, it had a pair of wings on its back. Considering he was floating, Shen Ruo turned to look behind him, but saw nothing like wings on his own back.
Was this a strange dream?
As Shen Ruo was pondering the question, the creature in front of him spoke.
"Data retrieval complete. Welcome to the entrance of the Realm of Dust and Sand. I am Gatekeeper No. 8."
You'd think the start of a fantasy adventure would at least come with a sword. That's how it always goes in novels.
Even if it was just an ordinary sword, at least there'd be a sword.
But Shen Ruo started with a set of clothes and a hooded cloak.
Their purpose was to keep him from being indecently exposed, stop him from looking like a despicable outsider, and prevent people from immediately noticing his exceedingly rare Eastern human appearance.
So Shen Ruo decided to use his starting item, the encyclopedia, to check out his clothes.
Entry: Ordinary Human Clothing
Appearance: Ordinary
Quality: Ordinary
Function: Prevents the body from being exposed to the air and to the gazes of other people.
Entry: Ordinary Cloak
Appearance: Ordinary
Quality: Ordinary
Function: A hooded cloak that provides some warmth. Pulling up the hood can also make you less conspicuous.
...What could he say? Thank goodness his starting equipment wasn't labeled "junk"?
A note:
The author's notes will be used to add information about the various worldbuilding details of the continent I've written about,
such as legends, herbs, the histories of different races, local customs, folklore, geography, weapons, organizations, and more.
Thanks will be kept in my heart, so they won't take up space in the author's notes.
I came across this story while organizing some old materials.
Revised and continued.
I'll probably put together a setting guide for the worldbuilding.
Theme: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
It feels like both the God of Space and the God of Time can open another book [covering face, laughing and crying]
Regarding the death of the dragon candidate, this may be a manifestation of the sense of absurdity. No matter how hard you jump, it seems powerful, but in the eyes of the truly unbreakable gods, it is just an ant. It also highlights how small and pathetic the world of Dust and Sand Realm is for their disputes. It is difficult for us to feel the power of gods while reading the novel, but in the end we understand the gap.
I never expected that the Dragon Clan candidate would die like this.
Um? Am I stuck? There is no update today or the time setting is wrong.
I'm a little bit addicted to Zhezhe candidate and Hirsch candidate 😳
I didn't pay attention after editing the chapter two days ago, and then the automatic publishing setting was set for a day As a result, the post was not posted at 9:00 today, and my obsessive-compulsive disorder was injured [Spread flowers]
Could it be that the Cold Snake candidate used some secret method to sacrifice children and then strengthen himself?
I seriously doubt that Du Ying took out the sword on purpose. Only in this way can Xiao Shen and Gesilfa face off to the greatest extent possible, so that he can personally understand the true extent of Xiao Shen's strength. Maybe they'll record it and trade it with other Ten Jue 🐶
Finished reading. I haven't read it for a while... How should I put it? This is a book that I have read from beginning to end. I really like the interaction of the characters, the introduction of local customs, different racial characteristics, etc. It is very interesting, like another small world. But for me personally, the ending was quite different from what I imagined. How should I put it, a bit "nihilistic"... It ended with a high-dimensional struggle against a low-dimensional one. I originally thought it would be a bloody battle or something. Compared with before, it does explain Shen Ruo's past, but it still feels a bit frivolous? But it is in line with the consistent style of the story. Although Shen Ruo stayed here until the end, his bond was still a bit like a water plant. With the feeling of swaying in the water, it passed by like the wind. It also corresponded to the bird of the wind element. It passed by at a touch and left at the touch. Overall, it is a story suitable for reading slowly. Thank you for bringing a good story [Rose]
The movie "Sahua" is finished, so is there a sequel?
