After Meeting You (A Detective Conan Ran Fanfic)

This is a story written for Ran, about her life: an ordinary little girl who, after stepping away from the plot, goes to school, pursues her dreams, falls in love, and enjoys a peaceful life. The male lead is an original character.

Blurb:

At some point, Ran began having strange dreams every now and then. The messages those dreams conveyed were always the same: her fate had already been written by the one holding the pen. All she had to do was follow the script like a puppet. Why ask all those questions? Why not just follow the story?

Ran refuses to live numb and follow the script. She begins to face her true feelings, tries to find her way out of her confusion, and starts breaking free of the so-called plot. And once she begins pursuing her own path, she is destined to drift farther and farther from her childhood friend.

The secrets he couldn't bring himself to reveal, which he called protection, no longer matter to Ran, whether she knows them or not. She only wants to escape the life written for her by the one holding the pen. What will her life be like once she does?

The arrival of Yui Yoshiki was entirely accidental. Ran only remembers that a breeze stirred when they first met. She was crying, and he happened to be passing by and offered her a handkerchief.
