The Ultimate Mecha Support Pilot

Wildly growing, tough-talking heroine x gentle, self-disciplined, emotionally fragile hero

Every mecha pilot hopes to find a support operator they can trust with their back.

Shen Suiyun once had one, but a betrayal cost him his S-rank mental power and his ability to trust others. The once-brilliant prodigy shut himself away from the world.

Then one day, someone suddenly asked him:

"I'm looking for a partner I can entrust with both my trust and my life. Are you free?"

In the light, he saw that it was the girl from a remote planet who ranked at the bottom of her class.

Years later, after they'd somehow been partners for ages, she asked him again:

"I'm looking for someone I can entrust with both my trust and my life. Want to date?"

Shi Xi barely scraped into the mecha program with perfect scores in every subject except Ethics and Rule of Law, where she got zero. She always kept her seniors' advice in mind:

A support operator's top priority is to kidnap (crossed out) bind a mecha pilot who will follow support commands without question.

She circled "without question."

Unfortunately, no one wanted to partner with her because she'd ranked last on the entrance exam.

Until she met Shen Suiyun.

With her keen eye, she could tell at a glance that he was a top-tier social recluse. Shi Xi's eyes lit up, and she coaxed and tricked him out of his little self-imposed exile.

Years later, she updated her support operator's handbook:

A support operator's top priority is to become a social menace. You might get an unexpected reward, like a mecha pilot who follows your support commands without question, and also happens to be your partner.

At first, no one believed in the odd pairing of a fallen genius and the class's worst student. They waited gleefully to see them make fools of themselves.

Later,

The campus exams became the foundation of their teamwork,

The league became the stepping stone to their perfect coordination,

And the battlefield became the bridge to their trust.

From then on, they stood side by side on every podium, claiming the highest honors.
