Qicaoyefei was a half-vampire, half-human, with little desire for blood. She actually preferred tomato juice.
One day, however, she caught the sweetest scent she'd ever smelled, and her fangs began to lengthen uncontrollably.
Oh no! What is this scent? I can't resist it!
Manga artist Uchinai-sensei has a love story straight out of a fantasy.
Since high school, he had been in a blood "feeding" relationship with a strange young lady who called herself a vampire.
"Xiaoman, Xiaoman! Let me have another sip!" The black-haired, blue-eyed girl clung to his arm, putting on a pitiful expression. "I went to watch your match today! You were so incredibly cool, Xiaoman! Just as you'd expect from my favorite Xiaoman!"
Back then, he would always blush and obediently hold out his arm.
And now?
"You've been working on your manuscript for ages, Xiaoman. You need to be a good boy and go to sleep." The beautiful girl, unchanged by time, pushed him under the covers. Her fangs gently brushed the side of his neck, hidden beneath his long, curly hair, before sinking in tenderly. "I'll talk to Editor Akagi for you."
As the gradual loss of blood brought on a tingling sensation, he held the body in his arms tight and slowly closed his eyes.
...While he was feeding her, it seemed that he, too, had been tamed by her "love."
PS:
1. About the male lead's personality: In high school, he was a wild, taciturn, innocent wolf pup and an "ace." As an adult, he is a warm and cheerful manga artist.
2. The female lead is an original character. In this version, she is the child of the male and female leads from Call of the Night, and takes her mother's surname. Although she's in her twenties, she still looks like a girl and has an innocent, girlish personality. She's a sweet, naturally flirtatious little vampire who loves to act cute, but also has a strong-willed side.
3. Volleyball matches are barely mentioned. I just wanted to write a short, sweet everyday romance! The plot may be a bit chaotic, and there will be everyday scenes from both before and after adulthood.
4. This idea came to me in a burst of inspiration after getting a craving for the Little Giant.
5. The author isn't good at writing romance... Read with caution.
6. The title and blurb are provisional.
Theme: Love means nourishing each other.
