Assistant Lin Has a Girlfriend

A silly, sweet little story. I'll revise the blurb later. Here's a rough version for now.

Li Sheng is the domineering CEO of an old-school romance novel.

He's also the devoted second male lead in an entertainment-industry novel.

Li Sheng is a man with a face like knife-cut noodles. His eyes always hold three parts devotion, three parts tenderness, three parts helplessness, and one part rebelliousness. He can bankrupt the Wang family with a flick of his finger.

Although Li Sheng, CEO of the Shengshi Group, is still busy acting out a melodrama with two women and one man, involving a pregnant wife running away, a devoted follower who'd follow him to the ends of the earth, and a brother willing to take a knife for him, that doesn't stop his assistant Lin from having a clingy, lovey-dovey relationship.

...It would be even better if his girlfriend didn't complain about his overtime every day.

Assistant Lin: Boss, when are you coming in to work? I need to take a vacation.

Li Sheng: I'll double your bonus this month.

Assistant Lin: No, I want time off.

Li Sheng: Triple.

Assistant Lin: ...

Li Sheng: Quadruple.

Assistant Lin, on the phone: Baby? I'm working late today. Go ahead and eat... Hello? Baby? Baby!

Includes a domineering CEO, the stand-in for the delicate white flower trope, the entertainment world's unattainable first love... But none of that has anything to do with the male and female leads! They're just bystanders munching on popcorn and showing off their affection in an old-school angst romance.
