☆ This story centers on the shou.
☆ See the very bottom for the blurb of my upcoming story, "Green River Rules of Horror"~
Shen Pingze transmigrated into a wildly popular disaster novel, where he was the only one capable of keeping the evil antagonist in check.
His mom was an SSS-rank disaster, the worst of the worst. Ambitious and ruthless, her biggest dream was to conquer the world.
His dad was the King of the Otherworldly Species, with countless minions at his command, all itching to destroy the world.
His little sister was a superpowered Otherworldly Being who had gone undercover at the Bureau of Anomalies under an assumed identity, working hard to earn promotions and become the King of Undercover Agents.
And he was the weakest member of the family, the very picture of someone who only acted tough because of his powerful family. He was a cannon-fodder extra among extras, knocked out by the protagonist with one punch before he even made it to chapter three.
After his death, though, his family of deranged antagonists all went berserk, getting further and further down the path of world destruction until the righteous protagonist killed them all and brought peace to the world.
Shen Pingze: "..."
If they found out he was a transmigrator, would he die? Or would he die?
Shen Pingze carefully kept his head down at home, but things gradually started to feel off.
His mom, who had been bent on conquering the world, suddenly stopped causing destruction. Instead, she used her abilities to start a company, which thrived until she became a famous businesswoman on the rich list. Every month, like clockwork, she gave each family member one million in pocket money.
His dad, whose dream had been to destroy the world, suddenly took charge of feeding the family. His cooking got better and better, and he even opened a little pancake-roll shop of his own that became famous far and wide. The thing he said to his family most often was, "Are you going to eat or not?"
His sister, who had been full of ambition, suddenly started slacking off. She clocked in at the last possible moment, left the second her shift ended, and slept until noon on weekends. Then she would exchange awkward, unfamiliar greetings of "Good... afternoon" with her useless yet undeniably gorgeous older brother, who had just woken up too.
Shen Pingze: "...Mm." Was this world messed up, or had everyone gone crazy?
Then, one night, the whole family got up in secret to grab a midnight snack and ran into one another. The four of them stared wide-eyed at each other. Shen Pingze's fingers trembled, but his voice was remarkably calm as he asked, "Are you all transmigrators too?"
What kind of antagonist sneaks out in the middle of the night to eat behind their family's backs?
Everyone laughed awkwardly. "What a coincidence. What a coincidence."
#Haha... You're a transmigrator, and so am I.
#Well, how about we eat first?
#You make a good point.
[Bonus Scene]
One day, an evil organization engineered an accident, and Shen Pingze happened to be at the scene.
Suddenly, the cold, stoic protagonist descended from the sky to save a damsel in distress. Only, he accidentally rescued Shen Pingze instead of an ordinary civilian.
Shen Pingze quietly crushed the little BOSS who had caused the dangerous accident into dust. He watched without a word as everyone thanked the protagonist, then tried to slip away amid the commotion. But the protagonist grabbed him by the sleeve.
Shen Pingze: ?
He turned back in confusion. A strange golden light flashed in his dark, bright eyes, like the first rays of sunlight after dawn. He was so beautiful it was almost breathtaking.
The protagonist blushed and stammered, but his hand held firmly to Shen Pingze's sleeve. A hint of nervousness crept into his usually resolute eyes as he said, "H-hello. Could I get your contact information?"
Shen Pingze: ...This world really had gone crazy after all.
Otherwise, why would the protagonist ask for his contact information? (smile)
--------------------Upcoming Story Blurb--------------------
Congratulations, you have entered the world of Green River. If you don't want to be the one getting topped, be sure to keep these rules close at hand _(:з"∠)~
Rule One: Do not pick up any men, women, animals, jade pendants... you find on the road.
Rule Two: When your secretary spills water on you, remember to dodge.
Rule Three: When you visit special places such as bars or schools, be sure to dodge every creature and object around you.
Rule One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty: Pay attention to every man around you, including your childhood friend, archenemy, close friend, stoic straight guy, cross-dressing heartthrob, movie star, adopted younger brother... because you might be forced to start a captivity play.
Of course, you don't have to read these rules...
Because once you come to Green River, there's no escaping the fate of being the one getting topped. Good luck~
The shou who transmigrated into the world of Green River: "..."
When he first saw these rules, he thought they were absurd and didn't believe a word of them.
But once he actually started experiencing everything they described, he began fighting to save himself.
When he spotted a man lying on the road, he calmly called emergency services, then drove off. Later, he received a Good Citizen award from the police station and a commemorative banner.
When his secretary spilled water on him, he fired the gorgeous but utterly useless man without hesitation and replaced him with someone truly competent. The company made it into the Fortune 500.
When a special event was triggered at a bar, he immediately called 110. Sirens blared, and the owner of a bar dealing in pornographic content was sent to prison, where he landed a stable job with room and board for twenty years.
The shou worked so hard to avoid his fate of being topped. Just as he was about to succeed...
He got topped.
"...You didn't tell me I couldn't keep the secretary who splashes water on himself."
So getting topped absolutely wasn't his fault! The rules were badly written!
System: Oh, we're terribly sorry. Our system's assessment indicates that you can't resist a pretty face, OvO~ (P.S. Those faintly visible eight-pack abs and that pitiful look are gorgeous, aren't they?)
Shou: "..."
Get lost!

Theme: Everyone is the protagonist of their own life.
Help, I regard the children of pleasure as the prince of pleasure 🐶
### Sure enough, the world is a huge... ##Maybe we are all just pretending to be at work#
Besides being angry at the birthday party the day before, does anyone care about this?
It is reasonable to speculate that he is learning how to be a human being from the only ordinary person (?).
The president will look for problems within himself. He suspects that he has made mistakes in his work, but he does not doubt that he is the savior.
Teacher Huang, can you come to my dream? I also want to study math in my dream for free.
Let's play idiom solitaire: obsessed with sex, distracted, oops, didn't connect
This person should only exist in heaven... Could you please come and serve in our school cafeteria?
What are you looking at! ! ! Be more reserved! ! !
This high school is very real, but I think I am very lucky. I remember that my high school vacation was once every two weeks, and everything else was fine.
