[Football] Glory Bows Before Me

A morally bankrupt, mentally fabulous king of the world x a female forensic pathologist who seems like a sweet little flower but is actually a dog-training master Thibaut Courtois is a player whose ability is inversely proportional to his morality. Booing only gets him more excited, and mockery makes him perform even better. Arrogant, ambitious, and morally deficient (with a bit of a masochistic streak, too), he has both talent and good looks [he really is handsome in his prime]. He never thought anything could tie him down. As for that intangible thing called love, he always scoffed at it. When he met Clarice in a bar, he thought he just wanted to try something different, but he never expected to get in deeper and deeper. The female lead likes to turn the tables and manipulate people, is good at giving the cold shoulder, and does whatever she pleases. She's a beautiful, intelligent woman. She looks like a sweet little flower, but at her core she's just like Courtois. People often mock me for being audacious and brazen, but so what? La gloire à mes genoux [I want glory to bow before me]. Glory bows before me, but I bow my head for you. P.S. The female lead will sleep with Courtois's teammates, and Courtois will have plenty of meltdowns [because she keeps him at arm's length]. [Do you love me or not? Say something!] [Of course I love you. I just made a little mistake, the kind you might make too, Tibo. If you love someone, you have to accept her as she is.] Theme: Healthy relationships are important, but dysfunctional ones are just so entertaining
