On their twentieth birthday, Fengxin and Xuexin received a coming-of-age gift from their mother, who was traveling abroad: the deed to a restaurant on Ace Island.
The restaurant was remote, cramped, and poorly equipped. It had just one thing going for it: it was a traveling restaurant that could move between worlds.
Fengxin and Xuexin decided to open a pizza shop.
They gathered mysterious wild mushrooms in deep forest valleys, collected delicious coral salt beneath reefs in the depths of the sea, and searched for phoenix eggs inside volcanoes. Or, in a rainy mountain cave, they would set up a stove, roast two plump lamb legs, eat their fill, and fall asleep in each other's arms beneath the dense curtain of rain.
When the locals' extraordinary fields of wheat happened to ripen, they paid a few jars of rock salt to harvest the golden ears in a foreign land and stock up. At dawn, they turned them into soft wheat cakes to fill travelers' stomachs, leaving behind a mysterious legend in the place.
Life passed amid abundance and adventure.
