Poems of the Post-Youth Years

[New novel, Kissed My Ex's Older Sister] is now available. See the blurb at the very bottom~ Marriage First, Love Later / Mutual Crush / Happy Ending Ji Songluo went on a blind date and ran into Yu Mingshu, the girl she'd secretly loved back in high school. Yu Mingshu was a gorgeous, icy beauty with plenty of money. Rumor had it she was impossibly picky, so Ji Songluo didn't get her hopes up. But to her surprise, Yu Mingshu simply handed her a marriage agreement. What?! Marriage?! Ji Songluo scanned the agreement. The beginning seemed normal enough, but what on earth were those clauses at the bottom? 5. Party B is prohibited from walking behind Party A. 6. Party B must have breakfast with Party A every day. 9. Party A shall pay Party B living expenses at a daily rate of 100,000. Wait, how much per day...? Ji Songluo signed on the spot, and just like that, she had a sweet wife. But things didn't go quite like the dream she'd imagined. Yu Mingshu was exactly the same after marriage as before, even more aloof, refined, and hard to approach than she'd been in high school. Then one day, Ji Songluo drunkenly murmured, "Yu Mingshu, you're so cold. I'm never going to like you again!!!" After that, Yu Mingshu seemed like a different person. She flirted with Ji Songluo and smiled at her all the time, even inviting her to sleep together! But she also paraded all kinds of beautiful women in front of her, slyly trying to make her jealous. Ji Songluo finally couldn't take it anymore. In a fit of anger, she began packing to go back to her parents' home, but she stumbled across a yellowed diary. It read: "Today is the 338th day Ji Songluo has followed behind me, and she still hasn't confessed." "...I saw Ji Songluo bring breakfast for her deskmate again. I'm so jealous..." "When on earth is Ji Songluo going to confess to me?" "Ji Songluo isn't going to confess to me... The person she likes isn't me." The next several pages were filled with: "Yu Mingshu, stop being so full of yourself." The diary had gone untouched for seven years when it finally started up again. The first entry read: "I heard Ji Songluo is single now. I'll make her regret not liking me back then." -------------------- Blurb for Kissed My Ex's Older Sister -------------------- New Couple / Super Sweet, Satisfying Revenge "The night I found out my girlfriend was cheating, I kissed her older sister." * Fu Chaoying had thought she would marry Ye Yi'an. After all, they'd grown up together and had been inseparable since childhood. But Ye Yi'an cheated on her. The night Fu Chaoying found the evidence, she promptly threw Ye Yi'an's luggage out the door, then turned around and met another woman. Later, Ye Yi'an waited outside the house all night, begging to make up. But she witnessed with her own eyes the person leaving Fu Chaoying's home the next morning: her own older sister, Ye Jiayuan, whom she had always admired and respected. Ye Yi'an never could have imagined that while she was pleading desperately outside, the room was filled with a subtle fragrance, and Fu Chaoying was playfully pushing at Ye Jiayuan's shoulder, saying she didn't want to. And no one knew that Fu Chaoying hadn't been completely drunk on the night they broke up. She remembered the person she'd kissed was Ye Jiayuan, and she remembered calling her in a coy, lingering voice: "Sis..." * In other people's eyes, Ye Jiayuan, heir to the Ye Group, was beautiful and charming, yet always rational, composed, and free of worldly desires. Everyone who tried to get close to her had failed. Only Ye Jiayuan knew that someone almost impossible to reach had always lived in her heart. Then, that impossible exception really did arrive. The woman she had kept in her heart for so long took the initiative and kissed her. Reader's Guide: 1. The prey walks right into the trap x the hunter willingly bows her head 2. They break up from the start. Before that, Fu Chaoying and Ye Jiayuan never crossed any lines. Theme: Believe that everything will work out for the better.
