The Imperial Food Bureau's Private Kitchen

Shang Zhen was just one step away from becoming the head official of the Imperial Kitchen when a villain framed her and caused her death. In a single twist of fate, she transmigrated to the modern world and inherited a dilapidated little courtyard.

To her surprise, the three palace maids who had stood by her during that incident transmigrated along with her. After discussing it together, the four of them decided to return to their old trade and turn the rundown courtyard into a private restaurant.

A farmhouse courtyard in Wen County, an obscure little county town, was transformed into a private restaurant. At first, the locals nearby didn't think much of it.

But as time went by, the little restaurant grew more and more popular:

Students and office workers treated it like their cafeteria.

People too lazy to cook came every day to take meals home.

Influencers made it a must-visit check-in spot.

Someone even claimed to have seen a celebrity's assistant sneak over to buy food.

And a nationally renowned chef who had cooked for state banquets came to discuss culinary skills with the restaurant's owner?!!!

Who exactly was the owner of this restaurant?!

As business boomed and the food became harder and harder to get, the people of Wen County couldn't take it anymore. They protested, "Don't you have your own private restaurants in your county? Why come to Wen County to eat someone else's food!"

Netizens from outside Wen County protested too: "We don't have a private restaurant this good here! The owner should take their pots and pans on a nationwide tour and show everyone what they're made of!"
