Reborn as a B in a Danmei Novel, Disguised as a Man

Pu Li transmigrated into the role of a female Beta side character in a danmei novel: a girl who disguises herself as a boy to infiltrate an all-boys' school, goes crazy for love, and acts as an Alpha's lackey. A lackey's work is tedious. Pu Li has to inject medication into Alphas going through their susceptible periods and clean up all kinds of messes. Fortunately, thanks to the A's protection, no one gives her a hard time. Alphas become clingy and irritable during their susceptible periods. They like to watch Pu Li gloomily as she rushes around, then pounce on her without warning and bite the back of her neck when she's not looking. Only then does Pu Li realize something is wrong. She flips A Xiu onto the ground. "What are you doing?" Instead, the A she's pushed away complains, "You don't react at all. That's not fair..." "If you need one, I can help you find an O..." A Xiu's eyes darken, and he scoffs. Things gradually start to go wrong. Her roommate, A Xiu, has lost his mind. He keeps entering the wrong room and lying down in the wrong bed. Her next-door neighbor, Bu Lisi, often runs out of hot water in the middle of his late-night showers. Her deskmate, Ou Xide, can't afford clothes and dresses so lightly every day that he looks like a peacock in heat. Being a woman is too dangerous in this world, so Pu Li decides to drop out. She skips class, climbs over walls, and hands in blank exam papers, exposing her disguise. But those A's seem blind: one of them even kicks her fake balls far away. Bu Lisi: "We didn't see a thing!" A Xiu: "A mouse just ran past." Ou Xide: "..." Pu Li: This world is insane. The danmei novel's male leads are actually attracted to women! Thinking of the misunderstandings caused by her having indulged their behavior, Pu Li gets a massive headache. She has no choice but to start treating them all equally, copying and pasting the same sentence four times. The Alphas aren't satisfied with online chats and the occasional bit of physical contact. As time goes by, they become anxious and insecure. Pu Li can't smell pheromones or be affected by them. She's always clearheaded and rational. They can't mark her or make her theirs. But at least she chose me, the Alphas think. Content warning: 1. The male leads are attracted to women. This is not a story about turning gay men straight. Theme: .
