[This story will enter VIP status on May 28. Thanks for your support!] [The author has limited energy and an unstable update schedule, so feel free to wait and binge it!] [Original title: I Picked Up an Amnesiac Bruce Wayne [Western Crossover]] [Paragraph comments are open. Come join the fun!] Elvis Rodriguez lost both his parents as a child, then lost both his adoptive parents as a teenager. Handed a tragic, beautiful-but-miserable life script, Elvis gives up thinking for himself. After losing his memory, he's tricked and coaxed into working as a grunt for an assassin organization. After spending several years working there with his head empty, Elvis suddenly comes to his senses. El: I can't spend another day living on a thirty-seventy commission split with retirement nowhere in sight! Just then, the organization gives Elvis an opportunity. If he takes out the target, he'll get a raise and promotion and escape the exploitation of his boss and mentor. His target is a certain young prince of Gotham. Elvis is confident he'll complete the job perfectly within a month. But one month, two months, three months go by... Elvis doesn't complete his mission. Instead, he achieves the following: 1. Earns the trust of a certain penguin and takes over the Iceberg Lounge. 2. Picks up an amnesiac "Matches Malone" (Bruce Wayne). 3. Gets called Dad by one of the Big Bat's Robins. El: Huh? Later, Elvis changes careers and becomes a Kingsman. Whenever he talks about Gotham with his partner (Bond/Ethan/Eggsy), they ask him: ? What exactly is your relationship with that rich Gotham guy? Elvis: Obviously, I'm his kept pretty boy! (Proud) *Pretty boy (not really), white-to-black-to-white Elvis x Lord Bruce Wayne // Reader's guide: - As usual, there are personal interpretations, the timeline is all over the place, and characters may be OOC. It's self-indulgent fun without much thought. - The first half is a Gotham romantic comedy, and the second half is a spy action movie set. We're going for both looking cool and romance x - I still can't find enough food for a main ship with Batman, so once again I'm writing my own self-indulgent fic (and creating my own landmines)! - This is an alternate version of my story Runaway, but you don't need to have read it. Theme: Love helps us surpass ourselves.
