Blurb:
Shen Jianzhen and Yan Tongzhou were forced by circumstances into marriage.
He was the newly appointed heir to a corporate group: cold, distant, aloof, ill-tempered, and not to be crossed. She was busy with the affairs of her own company and was rarely around.
After three months of marriage, they had barely seen each other a handful of times, and had always kept things cool and distant.
Yan Tongzhou could tell Shen Jianzhen couldn’t stand him.
Good. The feeling was mutual.
Once, they had a spat, and Yan Tongzhou was thoroughly uncooperative with her at work. Shen Jianzhen complained to him about it.
Yan Tongzhou set down his breakfast and said unhurriedly, “You’re using our shared marital assets to support your ex-boyfriend. Have I ever said a word about it?”
“I’m trying to talk business, and you bring up my ex-boyfriend? What’s that supposed to mean?” Shen Jianzhen lost interest and turned to leave.
Yan Tongzhou didn’t indulge her either. He drove off to the office.
Only after he was gone did Shen Jianzhen belatedly realize that he might have been jealous.
