The cities in each dungeon are all familiar. Shan Qingling has either visited them in person or marked them in a travel guide.
But every one of these cities in the dungeons lies in postwar ruins, desolate and ravaged.
Here, she encounters a giant bird with fiery red feathers, its wings stretching across several kilometers;
A giant rat with fur like steel needles;
A goat with glowing red eyes that swallows people whole;
A fish that flies through the sky and can shoot flames from its wide-open mouth;
A crane with a knife-sharp beak that can kill with nothing but its cry.
She stands atop a skyscraper battered by raging winds, tugging at the giant bird's tail;
In a damp, freezing night, she snips the giant rat's whiskers;
On a snow-covered summit, she pulls out the goat's teeth;
By the shore swept by towering waves, she tugs at the fish's scales;
At the edge of a swamp that devours everything, she plucks the crane's feathers.
She has no choice. These are all mission items she has to obtain.
Only after collecting them can she complete her missions.
Of course, she takes a few other things while she's at it.
Shan Qingling thought it was all part of the System's fixed routine for setting her up, but she never expected that one day, everything in the dungeons would become real.
