I Inherited an Academy After I Transmigrated

Zhuang Nianzhu transmigrated after waking up one morning.

The good news was that she inherited an academy from the start. The bad news was that it had only a handful of students and was on the verge of closing.

But a handful of students were still students!

She chose to lie flat.

Avoidance might be shameful, but it worked. Close your eyes to everything, and you won't have to see it.

Half a month later, bamboo shoots that were past their season had stewed in a pot for half a day and were still too tough to chew.

That day, starving and seeing green, Zhuang Nianzhu declared that her dream of doing nothing was over.

To make a living, she rolled up her sleeves.

No problem. Wasn't recruiting students her specialty? And if they didn't have any teachers, she'd go find some!

Later, the academy got back on track, attracting students from all over who had heard of its reputation.

Hey, I was only trying to make a living. Who knew I had so much potential? On a breezy afternoon, Zhuang Nianzhu dozed in a rocking chair with a fat cat in her arms.

Under a flood of praise, she felt that she had achieved career success and enjoyed smooth sailing, like the protagonist of a feel-good story.

But then her true identity was exposed, and she fell to rock bottom.

Everyone changed their tune.

Old rules have to be broken by someone. She had always been the one to back down, but this time she would be the one to take a stand.

Theme: Avoidance works, but facing things head-on works even better
