At first, Zhao Mengdi's hard-drinking friends simply couldn't get him to go out, no matter how often they invited him. Later, after finally getting through to him by phone, they heard a soft female voice on the other end. "Hello, who is this?"
One of his drunken friends teased her in reply. "And who are you? Why are you holding Young Master Zhao's phone? Do you get to make decisions for him?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end, then Zhao Mengdi's voice came through. "Of course. She's my wife. If she can't make decisions for me, then can you?"
