Meeting Her Dad on My Kid's First Day of School

On Yuan Yingsui's first day of kindergarten, she set off with tears in her eyes, looking back every few steps and insisting that her mother had to be the very first one to pick her up.

Yuan Baojia took the day off especially for her and waited at a cafe until school let out.

Who could have guessed that just past ten, a black Cullinan would pull up outside the kindergarten?

Yuan Baojia rushed out of the cafe at once and was the first to stand beyond the line.

Ten minutes later, someone got out of the car and lined up behind her, carrying the crisp fragrance of nard.

Yuan Yingsui finally came skipping out, delicate as a little doll and shining brighter than all the other children.

"Suisui is the cutest."

Yuan Baojia couldn't help agreeing. It was exactly what she thought herself...

Wait! Who had just said what she was thinking?

She whipped around to look at the man behind her.

The man's expression was stern, and he wasn't one to smile.

He hardly seemed like the sort of warmhearted adult who would casually compliment a child.

Yuan Baojia cautiously asked, "Do you know her?"

Wasn't this her daughter's first day at kindergarten? Had she already become famous?

Yan Jinghuai looked at her for a long moment, his eyes dark, then spoke in a calm, cool voice.

"Yes. I'm her father."

# If you're her father, then who am I?!

# The child's mom doesn't even remember the child's dad

# Oh no, I may have tricked an innocent man into bed
