In the world's Eastern and Western myths of destruction, there was a great flood that swept across the entire world.

When Shen Baishu opened her eyes, myth had become reality. The whole world was submerged.

Everywhere she looked, there were merfolk.

Radiation in the upper layers of the sea was severe, and everyone wanted to move to the depths. But moving wasn't easy. You needed a body that could withstand the pressure of the deep sea, which meant being at least a Second-Stage merperson.

Everyone in her family was only a pitiful First-Stage merperson, except for her grandmother. They were terribly weak, and their tails were rotting. They were close to death.

She needed food. She needed to survive. She needed to get her family treated. But the deep sea was short on supplies, and there were natural and human-made disasters... Then they would fight!

Later, she became ruler of the entire deep sea.

Content warnings: 1. The merfolk and jiaoren have original worldbuilding.

2. A long epic with a progression system, somewhat ensemble-focused. The early setting is a desolate sea and primitive tribes, with a hunting and survival style, much more savage. Later, they leave the desolate sea for an underwater world with modern technology. But because merfolk live so long, some places are still feudal, like aristocratic clans and sacred lands, while others are highly advanced, with phones, the internet, food delivery, and virtual reality.

3. Lots of imaginative ideas and worldbuilding, with passionate progression as well as cozy farming and building a home. A mix of genres. Also known as The Mermaid Chronicles and The Country Mermaid's Journey to Godhood.

After a great catastrophe, all kinds of rare diseases became common. Fuguang was unlucky enough to develop a rare form of ALS. In just six months, she went from being able to run and jump to being bedridden, with only her mind still working. She relied on an IV drip to stay alive.

At the brink of death, she was bound to an alien System called the God Game. It told her that if she provided humanitarian aid to the little people in a disaster-stricken world and earned their faith, she could exchange faith points for a chance at treatment. Fuguang agreed.

Later, she became the light of countless people, a god who saved the world.

World 1, tentative:

The Kingdom of Zhou has suffered three years of drought. At the emperor's behest, the Imperial Astronomical Bureau proclaims that a demon is in the country, directing its blade toward the empress's family, who had supported the emperor's rise from obscurity to the throne.

The entire household of a general is thrown into prison and is about to be executed.

In her despair, the empress hears a divine voice from beyond the heavens:

"A drought, you say? I wonder if this drop of glucose will be enough."
