He Shu asked Li Yuanshu if he had ever regretted running away with her.
Li Yuanshu replied, “A little. Is it too late to regret it now?”
A small car sped past them. He Shu and Li Yuanshu sat side by side at the roadside, looking like a pair of vagrants.
He Shu propped her chin on her hand and narrowed her eyes. “Sorry, it’s too late.”
Li Yuanshu covered his face and laughed until he trembled.
