Escape the Killing Loop

Qi Le was an utterly ordinary office worker. She bought milk tea, bent down to tie her shoe, and got stabbed the moment she stood back up.

She didn’t even see who killed her. She just felt a chill in her stomach, and in the blink of an eye, her game was over.

Luckily, after dying, Qi Le neither ended up in the underworld nor got her soul shackled by ox-headed and horse-faced demons. Instead, she found herself standing in an unfamiliar room, with a System in her head.

[Every time the Host is killed, they will be sent back a certain amount of time. If the Host still hasn’t managed to survive after seven tries, they will be erased!]

Qi Le: “...”

Wu Xuemei had always felt that fate had never been kind to her. So when she struggled to survive and failed, she took a knife and killed the scumbag who had kicked her into the abyss of fate.

But after she died, she didn’t get to see justice served. Instead, she returned to seven days earlier.

Wu Xuemei was bewildered, but she didn’t change her mind. She killed the scumbag again.

Yet time turned back once more.

Wu Xuemei began to test the limits, and through their repeated encounters, discovered that the soul inside the scumbag’s body belonged to someone completely unrelated.

She thought fate was mocking her. But as time rewound again and again, she suddenly realized that this wasn’t some cruel game. It was the only mercy fate had ever shown her.
