One day, Yokohama was once again in the middle of a fight, while the Jujutsu High crew had once again been set up by their own allies and enemies alike, nearly leaving them at death's door. Suddenly, they were transported to a world of endless cycles.
The space's Master God told them that they could return to the real world only after clearing every instance.
Of course, each cleared instance came with a reward, and the higher their clear rating, the greater the reward.
In an instant, everyone was eager to get moving, both to return to their original world and to claim the rewards.
Then the first instance taught them a lesson.
Instance One: IF (The Miracle of the Third Planet)
A giant, pure-white sphere shaped like an egg has appeared in a certain city, stirring up intense debate and panic among its residents. As members of the Defense Force, sworn to protect the world and its people, find a way to deal with this unknown life-form and restore peace to the residents.
Instance difficulty: [F-SSSS]. Participants: 4. Number of attempts: Unlimited.
Please choose your course of action carefully.
The eager group jostled and clamored for a chance to enter the first instance.
And then...
First clear attempt: Failure. IF absorbed every attack, continued to evolve, and eventually destroyed the entire country, then the whole world.
Second clear attempt: Failure. After being attacked, IF was lured into space by the Defense Force. With no follow-up plan, the terrifying-looking IF was attacked by the panicked inhabitants of other planets. It kept evolving and eventually destroyed the entire universe.
After expending a great deal of effort to clear the first instance, the group was dissatisfied. Surely a combat-focused one would be an easy clear.
Then the second instance arrived.
Instance Two: Eien Core
Earth's treasure, the Eternal Core, has attracted the attention of Dark Giants and extraterrestrial creatures. Defeat the invaders and protect the world.
Instance Three: Bogaru
The extraterrestrial predator Bogaru has turned Earth into a breeding ground, constantly luring monsters here to prey on. This poses a serious threat to Earth's harmony. Defeat Bogaru and protect Earth.
Instance Four: The Radiant One
The terrifying monster that destroyed an ancient civilization has awakened. Darkness has engulfed the entire planet. Protect the planet's light.
And so on...
As the title suggests, this story came entirely from my grievances with the original works.
So you want to fight, and you don't trust your companions, so you keep causing trouble? Then come see what an Ultra Series script looks like, and let's see how you'll save the world without kindness and truth!
There will be heroes and some villains from Jujutsu Kaisen and Bungo Stray Dogs.
Instances featured include:
The fastest and strongest, the infamous bug monster Yephic (IF)
The infamous 48-hour hell instance from a certain Toku series
The Bogaru instance, from the series that gave us the famous line, 'How can mere Earthlings compare to the Arb?'
The Dark Ruler instance from a certain Tiga series, where everyone can become light
There will be: Mori, who finds the optimal solution, eliminates the only chance of winning, and then gets a straight-up game over.
There will be the Jujutsu High crew, who rely on the strongest to fight monsters before realizing that one solitary star can't outshine a sky full of stars.
There will be the cult leader who believes 'humans are just monkeys and sorcerers are the new humanity,' then gets obliterated by a sword and the line, 'How can Earthlings compare to the Arb? They can't, and that's that.'
And more.
My grievances with the original works run deep, hence this idea.
No pairings.
Theme: Promote kindness and truth. Anyone can become a light
