A Scum Top's Guide to Crashing and Burning

[The writing has some serious problems, so I'm planning to rewrite the second world as a separate story. The first world is now complete.]

"He can be a scumbag gong, brainless and prone to crazy outbursts. He can fall to his knees and burn in the crematorium until the end, only to still go unforgiven."

The World Correction Department, under the Office of Fate, discovered that some of the "scumbag gongs" in its minor worlds were malfunctioning.

They sent out Systems to help those scumbag gongs carry out their assigned roles properly, but never expected to make an even bigger mess of everything.

World One: The scumbag gong who falls for his white moonlight and seeks a substitute [Modern City]

System: "You're a spoiled rich second-generation playboy who can't have your white moonlight, so you look for a substitute. But the substitute turns out to be the white moonlight's long-lost younger brother. In the end, the brothers beat you up together, and after you go bankrupt, you end up homeless!"

Scumbag gong: "I get all that, but I'm face-blind. Which one is the substitute, and which one is the white moonlight?"

The System helplessly discovered that even though it and the scumbag gong had both tried their best to follow the path of fate, everything still turned into a complete mess, and the ending veered wildly off course!

For some reason, the protagonist shou, who was supposed to stay single and shine on his own, suddenly wanted to keep dating the "scumbag gong."

1. Anthology format. Each world has a different CP. It's fundamentally a System transmigration story, and some arcs are a little longer.

2. Gong POV, though some sections will use the shou's POV for the sake of telling the story properly.

Xi Wen Ye doesn't dare accept such a grand label.

He quickly insists that, at most, he could be a substitute.

Ning He takes Xi Wen Ye along to make a movie.

The male lead brings along a male eleventh lead. No big deal.

But gradually, Ning He finally realizes something.

Thinking of his "white moonlight" used to make his heart ache.

Now, whenever he looks at Xi Wen Ye, he can't help smiling.

The difference is a little strange.

Xi Wen Ye feels wronged, too.

He said from the start that he could only be a substitute who looked a lot like the real thing.

If the person isn't quite right, isn't it only natural that he doesn't have the same effect?
