In his previous life, Ding Xi was poisoned by Liang Xu, the brother he trusted most. As he lay dying, Ding Xi touched the bracelet his rival, Bai Chenliang, had given him when they said goodbye, and then passed out.
When Ding Xi woke up again, he discovered he had been reborn. He immediately began exposing the traps Liang Xu had set for him, which he hadn't noticed before. In the process, Ding Xi realized that Bai Chenliang had been helping him all along, and slowly fell in love with him.
Ding Xi confessed his feelings to Bai Chenliang, and they got together. Their good times didn't last long. After only a few months together, Ding Xi was forcibly taken to America by his mother to pursue a career. They were apart for five years.
They met again at a bathhouse, and Bai Chenliang began pursuing Ding Xi like a lovesick puppy. Sure enough, the two got back together, this time for good.
