Humanity's faith collapsed, and the world fell into chaos. Qing Rong, the Heavenly Dao, lost his soul and turned into a stone, falling to who knew where.

His daddy, a golden retriever, was the demon clan's Grand Elder, second only to one and above all others, ruthless and merciless. He was currently being impeached by other ministers for being fond of humans and wagging his tail at everyone he met.

His mommy, a silver fox, was the Saintess, with countless admirers (crossed out) followers.

His eldest brother, a giant panda, was a great general in charge of a hundred thousand demon soldiers. Usually he did nothing but eat and sleep, but legend had it he'd been a God of War a thousand years ago!

His second brother, a border collie, was the clan's only well-read scholar to have returned from studying at a human university. He was quite aloof, had gathered a flock of sheep as students, and held PE classes on the prairie every day.

Qing Rong, the Heavenly Dao they cursed about every day, had become the youngest child they adored and held in the palms of their hands.

The spiritual power in the demon realm was growing weaker by the day. The demons could no longer improve their cultivation, and some were even regressing and losing their minds. Daddy's powers were gradually fading, and he was developing all sorts of health problems.

When Big Brother went to the human realm to steal (crossed out) fetch a bottle of milk, he brought back a top-grade spirit stone brimming with spiritual power. If they could open it, Daddy would recover and regain his strength.

The family tinkered with the stone for ages, but couldn't open it.

Daddy was utterly despondent and even left his last words: "After I die, don't bury any huskies within a hundred miles."

Just as everyone was feeling down, they heard a tiny, babyish sigh, and a little hand touched the spirit stone.

Not only did Daddy recover, his demonic power even advanced to a new level. Mommy and both elder brothers made breakthroughs, too.

They all hugged the little bundle and showered him with kisses. "We heard only that bastard Heavenly Dao could open spirit stones. Who knew our Little Rock could do it, too? Once he grows up, we'll kill the Heavenly Dao, rule the world, and unite the demon realm!"

When Mommy's heavenly tribulation arrived, everyone huddled together and sobbed. The Heavenly Dao's lightning tribulations had never been kind to demons. Several powerful demons had already been blasted to pieces by heavenly lightning.

Mommy put everything at home in order, grabbed Qing Rong and kissed him, then calmly went to meet her death.

Qing Rong followed her, holding a pheasant. He set it down not far from her, then sat cross-legged.

Dark clouds gathered overhead, and the heavenly lightning was ready to strike. Mommy sobbed, "Go on, get out of here. I'll be your mom again in the next life."

Qing Rong sighed and asked, "Mommy, do you like your roast chicken completely charred or only half-charred?"

Mommy: "Huh?"

Qing Rong casually reached up and grabbed at the sky, then pointed at the pheasant. Lightning burst across the sky and struck the bird with a crackling roar.

Everyone: "..."

Daddy: "Who said only the Heavenly Dao could control heavenly lightning? My son is mighty! The demon clan will unite the world sooner or later!"
