My Beggar Little Brother Is the Crown Prince

He was the crown prince of the current dynasty. While accompanying the empress on a visit to her family, he was unfortunately attacked by villains and ended up as a little beggar on the street.

I rescued him when everyone was bullying him. Seeing how exceptionally clever he was, I went up the mountain to hunt and down to the river to catch fish, all to support his studies. He lived up to my hopes and became the top-ranked scholar in the imperial examinations!

While he was in the capital taking the exams, I was bullied by a local tyrant. The county magistrate's cousin accepted bribes and colluded with the tyrant.

Just as I was being shoved into a bridal sedan, at the very moment I had given up hope and was about to die to defend my honor, my little beggar brother returned in brocade robes, riding a fine horse, to take me away!
