[A sunny flower-demon top who is positive, hardworking, clever, and the best in the whole world x a flirtatious, flashy, sickly Taoist priest whose identity is a mystery, who loves to be annoying but is actually a good person]
One-on-one, happy ending
Su Chaoheng is a morning glory flower demon.
He's positive, cheerful, optimistic, and works hard to cultivate. Though morning glories are the most sensitive and fragile of flowers, he's managed to live with the vitality of a sunflower.
Morning glories bloom at dawn and wither by dusk, and have always been short-lived. Becoming an immortal is the only sensible path, so he decides to follow his ancestors' advice and collect human tears to aid his cultivation.
When he first enters the human world, he goes to a family in mourning to seek tears. Before he can get started, a Taoist priest recognizes his true form.
Certain he hasn't given himself away, he stares in confusion, doesn't even dare look the man in the face, and hurries off. He thinks he'll never see him again, but then gets caught by him all over again.
The Taoist priest looks utterly carefree, dressed in white and smiling at him.
"Well, well. Who'd have thought such a handsome young man would be a flower demon?"
Su Chaoheng thinks he's run into a notorious lecher.
The Taoist priest calls himself Mu Yan. He's very handsome, but never acts serious. He keeps saying Su Chaoheng has a fragrance so strong it can be smelled from ten miles away, and he especially likes to lean in close and sniff him.
Even Su Chaoheng, who doesn't know much about social etiquette, finds it rather offensive.
On their third meeting, Mu Yan finally asks, "Little flower demon, we've met so many times. We must be fated to meet. What's your name?"
Though he really doesn't want to answer, he's under the other man's roof and has no choice but to bow his head.
"Su Chaoheng."
Mu Yan repeats it twice and smiles. "A good name."
Two days later, Mu Yan greets him with, "Chao~ Chao~"
Su Chaoheng feels as though his leaves are about to wither.
"Chao by day and Mu by night. Our names suit each other so well. We must be destined for each other."
"Do I even know you that well?!"
"What is your real name?"
"Don't look at me like that, Chaochao. You're scaring me." Mu Yan reaches out to put an arm around his waist, but a vine suddenly lashes out and binds his hand. "So cruel?"
"If you were going to get involved with me and hide everything from me, you should have known what would happen. I'm a demon. I can kill you."
Mu Yan sighs.
"You can't bear to."
The flower demon is the top, the top, the top, the top!!!!
I'm no good at writing blurbs, but I promise they're both good people.
