[The title and blurb may be tweaked, but the core premise will stay the same]
Aaliya finds a little angel with a broken wing in the mud of Hell.
Hell is a harsh place, and hardly suitable for angels.
Aaliya thinks he's just a snot-nosed little brat. Once his injuries have healed, she plans to scare him into leaving. But then, to her surprise...
Overnight, he grows into a fully-fledged adult angel!
Now she can't scare him off or chase him away. And somehow, he's clinging to a demon and refusing to let go?
Maybe he's been in Hell too long. He has none of an angel's purity or restraint, but he's picked up the devil's ways as if by second nature.
The moment they meet, he's asking for kisses and cuddles, and he can't keep his hands off her tail.
Anyone who didn't know better would think he was a demon disguised as an angel.
"When are you going back to Heaven?"
Aaliya pushes away the angel pressing against her and pulls back her heart-tipped tail before he rubs it bald.
The angel doesn't answer. His warm wings wrap around her, but Aaliya wriggles away, too hot.
She turns into a slippery snake and tries to squeeze through a gap in his embrace to escape.
The angel laughs and catches her, gently holding her slender snake body in his palm.
She slips from his hand, and he bends down to kiss every last one of her scales.
In the eyes she cannot see, a love held back for millions of years, now regained, burns beyond his control.
Much, much later.
The news that the defeated Dark God was being ground into the dirt by the God of Light spread like wildfire. The demons had grown used to their own deity's humiliating record in battle.
But this time, rumors about the reason the gods had gone to war were everywhere.
They say the God of Light wants to move the divine palace to Hell so a certain demon will stop nagging him to go home.
A demon, looking thoroughly intrigued, interviews Aaliya: "You thought he was an ordinary angel, but it turns out he's the God of Light, and he's moved in next door. How do you feel about that?"
The radiant god walks toward her. Aaliya looks at his familiar face and calmly puts on a pair of sunglasses.
"Please remember to turn off the sun tonight. Thanks, my dear neighbor."

1. A demon lady who's slow to catch on when it comes to love and has an unusual way of thinking x a god who won't give up until he wins his wife back.
2. The setting is entirely fictional, and there are about as many author's inventions as feathers shed by angels.
3. I've lost all my hair and thrown away my brain. All I have left is a mouth that wants sweet treats. I'm writing with total abandon, so the plot and logic may be as patchy as my hair. [Emphasis]
