He Returned to the Omega Hunting Game, Disguised as an Alpha, and Became a Legend

Gu Yan was the only exception in that cruel game. He escaped after narrowly surviving death, then disguised himself as a hunter and returned to the arena.

Gu Yan had only one reason for getting close to Chu Yi, the military major general who took part in the hunt: to avenge his younger sister, who had been brutally killed, with his own hands.

--

Gu Yan soon discovered that the carefree man beside him was Chu Yi.

Having returned to the arena, Gu Yan knew the terrain like the back of his hand. He lured Chu Yi into a forest full of venomous snakes, waiting for them to make Chu Yi bleed from every orifice and die.

But Chu Yi stepped across a mountain of dead snakes and tucked a flower he had picked behind Gu Yan's ear with a teasing smile. "In this dump, this flower is about the only thing that can barely match you."

With a map in his head, Gu Yan had a firm grasp of the changing weather. He led Chu Yi to an island where a flood had broken out, determined to die together with him.

Yet Chu Yi miraculously crossed countless rivers and appeared before Gu Yan, who was about to drown, like a god descending from the heavens. "You said you were afraid of me, so I was bound to come save you. See, Gu Yan? Even heaven itself can't do a thing to me."

Gu Yan kept his head down and bided his time, closing in step by step. He tried every means at his disposal to assassinate Chu Yi, only to become, in everyone's eyes, a guy who wanted to have an Alpha-Alpha romance with him.

At last, Gu Yan could take it no more and brought his knife down on Chu Yi's shoulder. He heard the other man say nonchalantly, "So you wanted to kill me. I thought it was some new game of playing hard to get."

Chu Yi glanced at the wound, deep enough to expose bone. But when he looked at Gu Yan, his eyes were full of possessiveness. "You can take anyone's life you want. But if you've got the wrong person for your revenge, then you'll have to come home with me and get married, my commander."

--

Chu Yi grinned cheekily. "How about using me as a stepping stone for your revenge? I made my name young and hold a powerful position. I'm exceptionally gifted and come from a distinguished family. I may not play by the rules, but I dote on my wife."

He boasted shamelessly, "I'm very useful."

Gu Yan: "Get lost."

The good news: Chu Yi wasn't the killer.

The bad news: everyone was deceiving Gu Yan.

The rules of this hunt had long since changed. Gu Yan was the only prey.

Everyone knew he would disguise himself as an Alpha and blend in. Gu Yan was the only one who didn't know.

He was used as a pawn, a weapon aimed at Chu Yi.

He was made the butt of a joke, and heard the conversation between Chu Yi and the real killers plotting together.

On a rainy night, Gu Yan went alone to face them with nothing but a knife. He killed the three real culprits who had murdered his sister with his own hands, finally ending nearly a decade of hatred.

Before jumping off a cliff to end his life, Gu Yan said to Chu Yi, "Maybe you never meant to betray me, but I'll never become your trophy."

--

Gu Yan's disappearance after jumping off the cliff set off a bloody upheaval, and the hunt that had lasted a century came to an end.

Gu Yan was no longer seen anywhere in the world. All that remained was the leader of the Omega Alliance, despised by the powerful families who ground their teeth in hatred of him.

And following behind that leader was Chu Yi, who had turned his back on his own family's origins.

"Give me another chance. I'll clean house and give you justice."

"I'm your personal trophy."
