[Harry Potter: James Potter] What Is a Crush?

James and Eleanor had been childhood friends since they were little.

▼

After dancing with Eleanor at a ball, holding her hand as they moved together,

James suddenly felt an urge to never let go again.

He didn't want to be just childhood friends with Eleanor.

He wanted to win back her attention,

her favor,

and a kiss from her.

It shouldn't be too hard, James thought.

After all, Eleanor used to have a crush on him.

A few notes for readers:

1. This is a free story, written for love. Bookmarks and comments motivate me to keep updating.

2. I really love James, which is why I wrote this third little self-indulgent treat. I really want to write a short, sweet story... Every girl is an independent person with a soul of her own, so please don't compare her with characters by this author or anyone else.

3. No academy will be portrayed negatively. The heroine is a Hufflepuff.

4. The premise is unusual, so some OOC moments are unavoidable. If that bothers you, please read something else.

Theme: Love should be spoken out loud.
