[Western Crossover] Who Killed the Joker?

On an ordinary day, ordinary people Bruce, his four sons, and their friend Clark get together to play a murder mystery game. In this superhero-themed story, everyone takes on a different role as they search for the culprit who killed the Joker.

Who killed the Joker?

Who are the characters they've been assigned?

And are they really ordinary people outside the game?

Or...

Is this more than just a murder mystery game?

Please note:

Everyone is an ordinary person in "real life," but plays their original character during the murder mystery game.

In the game, only Bats knows everyone's secret identities. The others know only one another's public identities, not their vigilante identities.

The game takes place just after the Bucket has returned to Gotham, before he's had a chance to do anything.

Since they're just "ordinary people" playing a game, they accuse one another, pin blame on each other, and act in ways that don't fit their original characters. For various reasons, some of their actions during the game also differ from their usual personalities and habits.

* This story was first published in 2023. It went on hiatus for a long time, and I'm now revising parts of the earlier chapters, though some differences in how things are expressed between sections may remain.

In World A, the amnesiac survivor leads a group of monster children, struggling to survive the apocalypse while fighting for control against the "Sickly System" in his brain.

In World B, he's the amnesiac billionaire of Gotham, having lost his memory in a car accident. Under the complicated gazes of his family, he plays the field with a "Romance System."

Bruce: I don't think this is right.

System: I think it's correct.

Bruce will never give up on uncovering the truth, but the truth can be heavier than reality...

When he digs up old friends and children from another world beneath the ice of the apocalypse, the Bat's soul, which has endured for centuries, finally opens its eyes once more.

This time, everyone will get a perfect ending.
