Esports ensemble cast | Childhood friends | Unshakably steady, sharp-tongued jungler x a cocky, dazzling top laner
At this year's S Championship, the unfancied SQ team barely scraped into the top sixteen, sent the first seeds from all three major regions packing one after another, and eventually made it to the finals.
But they lost 2:3 to ING, missing out on the championship. SQ's rookie top laner, nian, burst into tears onstage, winning the audience's sympathy and gaining hundreds of thousands of followers overnight.
At five in the morning, after the finals, nian's new fans flocked to his livestream to comfort the promising but sensitive and fragile kid...
Only to see a top laner called "I Rule the Green Pastures" chase down all five opponents and slaughter them, effortlessly scoring an ace and pushing a wave of minions toward the enemy's inhibitor turrets.
Suddenly, the top laner's character stopped in front of the enemy fountain. The rapid clatter of a keyboard followed.
[All] I Rule the Green Pastures (Camille): Want to win? Show me a dance.
Old fan: Why aren't you pushing? Got something on your mind?
Old fan: So what if you missed the championship? Even the minions aren't making a fuss!
Old fan: Riot finally couldn't stand you and locked you up to force you to take a class on social skills?
New fan: ...?

After seventeen years of being Shi Yuan's best friend, Ji Nian never imagined he'd experience the desolation of realizing, "My best friend actually has a thing for me."
He immediately ditched the ING academy team without telling Shi Yuan and signed up with SQ instead, going from the academy team to the second team and then getting promoted to the first team in just a few days.
After nearly a year of no contact with his childhood friend, they met again at the S Championship finals.
Shi Yuan won the championship by stepping on Ji Nian's head, and even took his FMVP.
One absurd thing after another came flooding in. SQ's management suddenly announced that Shi Yuan was transferring to the team, and Ji Nian wanted nothing to do with him.
Shi Yuan: "Your mom said that if you don't get into college, she'll break your legs."
Ji Nian: "?"
Ji Nian: "Who studies classical poems, formulas, and key concepts while last-hitting minions?"
