[Serious version]
They say heroes rise in troubled times. After two Red Ram calamities, great clans sprang up across the Central Lands, each flourishing in its own way. The people of the past gave their lives for their country, and in return brought peace and prosperity.
Twelve years later, peace has come. Yet the young people of this age seek to escape the great names of their ancestors, and stand in the martial world with their own insignificant yet audacious selves, contending for all under heaven.
Ning Cen wants no part of it. He entered the world only hoping for a swift horse, a few good friends, and a chance to uphold justice and right every wrong, before warming a pot of wine, drawing his sword, and slaying the Red Ram Demon Cult. But his master forces him to compete for the top spot, and a hidden hand pushes him into the game. The waves are rising, and the pillars that should hold them back have fallen. If he refuses to fight, he will be at others' mercy, and the Central Lands will become prey for anyone to devour.
The youth wants no part of the fight.
