As a professional player who debuted in the league's fifth season, after competing for four seasons, Shen Qingxi increasingly felt that her glorious career was hurtling in a very strange direction.
Although she was a master of two healing classes and her healing skills were probably decent, and she knew a little about tactics, that was no reason to make her lead a team like this, was it?!
Shen Qingxi silently studied her team's results, then looked at the possible new teammates. She couldn't help thinking back to a night a year ago, when she had dinner plans with her older brother during All-Star Weekend.
"I feel like healing can't save our team anymore." Shen Qingxi took a sip of bitter tea, feeling pain in her heart, and sighed forlornly. "Maybe I should retire."
"?" Her brother was baffled. He couldn't see what healing's inability to save the team had to do with retirement.
"Let someone else be the healer!" Shen Qingxi slapped the table with heroic confidence. "If I can't retire, I'll change classes! A Berserker in my left hand, a Battle Mage in my right, and together we'll hold up the sky for Team Howl!"
Her brother was quiet for a moment, then politely applauded and said, sparing with his words, "What ambition."
Note:
(1) The female lead is a healer and won't change classes. The blurb is just a joke. The team is Howl. Since the original Full-Time Professional has little information about them, there may be quite a few headcanons, but nothing too outlandish. I'll try to keep everyone in character. If anything in the story conflicts with the original, just treat it as a headcanon.
(2) This is a lighthearted and cheerful story, with no heavy angst or deranged melodrama. It leans toward the female-oriented romance genre. The main story should have one exclusive couple, though I haven't decided who yet and will see how it goes. There may be alternate routes or multiple endings.
(3) Updates depend on my mood. If there are no comments or feedback, there may be no updates...
Theme: Stay positive and strive for the championship
Bad news, there are only two chapters. The good news is that the pit was opened yesterday and it is not an abyss.
