Evil Begets Evil

[A truly awful woman * a real female ghost]

[Zhu Jinyi * Tong Ji]

**

Her wife Tong Ji died, and Zhu Jinyi inherited her estate.

"I loved her until the day she died."

One lie, two tears, worth a fortune.

**

After the funeral, Zhu Jinyi takes off her mourning clothes, puts on dazzling makeup and a long, crimson-red dress, then boards a cruise ship to indulge herself without restraint.

Drunk out of her mind, she sees her wife, who should be dead, standing in the crowd with a sinister look in her eyes.

She thinks it's a hallucination. But late at night, beneath the covers, there is another cold body beside her.

**

Zhu Jinyi is greedy and insatiable. Her name explains it all: Zhu as in pearl, Jin as in gold, and Yi as in a hundred million.

Tong Ji, daughter of the city's richest tycoon, is sickly, gentle, and easy to deceive.

Short on money, Zhu Jinyi gives in to greed.

She deliberately seduces the naive young woman, leading her to fall in love, then plots behind her back and pushes Tong Ji into an abyss from which there is no escape.

From then on, her cold wife becomes a pile of hot gold coins.

**

Everything is perfect.

Except that her once-gentle, quiet wife has become terrifying and vicious.

Note:

1. The characters are quite awful, so to make the story sufficiently distant from reality, it has a modern setting but takes place in a fictional world. Many cultural customs will be mixed together.

2. The scoundrel is vile in every way, scheming at every turn and emotionally cold. The ghost is a real ghost, lacking humanity, and will inflict physical and psychological torment. Please read with caution if you can't handle that.

3. This blurb was written on May 19, 2025, and may be changed before the story begins.

Theme: If you have a clear conscience, you needn't fear a ghost knocking at your door.
