A new tea factory comes into being, gathering all kinds of companions from various worlds who died in the line of duty, and giving them a little peace in the world after death.
But!
Why are none of you willing to behave? You already died in the line of duty! And you still want to go back to the real world to see your childhood friends?! Well, it's not impossible, but you'll have to do missions!
But, times two.
Why are you all such workaholics? No days off all year?! As a System, I successfully went on strike, or maybe I just broke down...
Longjing: I feel like "Little Oolong Sauce" (with emphasis) could put in a little more effort. He was known as the Emperor of Overtime when he was alive, after all~
Oolong: ...
Pu'er: First of all! Longjing, stop stealing my character! And secondly! I'm not that messed up!
Green Tea: I think it's fine?
People whose childhood friends died in different worlds, and those who have already died, reunite by chance. Both sides are in a pretty bad mental state, and they end up emotionally wrecking each other.
Also known as "Guess Who I Am. There's No Prize Even If You Guess Right," "Dying and 'Coming Back to Life' Only to Be Wrecked by My Counterpart from Another World," and "Saving My Childhood Friend"...
Red faction: Worlds where their childhood friends are still alive.
Black faction: People whose childhood friends died, but who survived alone. They gather from different worlds.
Gray faction: People from the black faction's worlds who have already died (?).
Warnings:
1. They aren't familiar with the world of the dead. Since they've died, their identities have changed, and their mindsets have become somewhat obsessive. They feel that the person in front of them isn't their own childhood friend, which bothers them a little, perhaps? But their bond remains.
2. The world of the dead is referred to using code names (in the early chapters).
Jinpei Matsuda - Longjing
Kenji Hagiwara - Pu'er
Hiromitsu Morofushi - Green Tea
Rei Furuya - Oolong
Ran Mouri - Tieguanyin
Shinichi Kudo - Black Tea
Wataru Date (the squad leader) is referred to by his real name, for a reason.
3. The update schedule is irregular because I'm very busy. Busy at work, and all I want to do after work is sleep.
4. The writing is like a primary school student's, or a school essay. If that bothers you, just drop the story; there's no need to tell me.
5. No romance, only brotherly affection, and none of the original pairings like Shinichi and Ran will be broken up.
6. The police academy group won't be killed off, but the worldbuilding isn't scientific either. (Do you think this blurb sounds scientific?)
Theme: Give those who never got over it a happy ending
