Am I Not Just a Stand-In? (Matriarchy)

A completed short story.

A domineering male protagonist from a typical power fantasy is transported to a world where women rule. Because he looks like the late Phoenix Lord Consort of the empress, he is kidnapped and taken into the palace that very day.

Duan Yunshang: I know your royal family is into this sort of thing, but I won't submit!

But the next moment, a woman's fingertip lifted his chin. "Not bad-looking. Cry for me."

Duan Yunshang knew he'd entered the palace by a twist of fate, simply because he resembled the Phoenix Lord Consort.

But as his belly grew rounder day by day, he still couldn't stop his eyes from reddening when he watched the empress being lured away by her other consorts.

Why doesn't she want me anymore all of a sudden...?

Maybe these are your favorite tropes:

A tsundere, pure-hearted male lead who says one thing but means another × a fickle but occasionally gentle, universally adored empress

The female lead is not a virgin; the male lead is. Love triangle, status difference, universally adored female lead, jealous male lead, pregnancy before love

Theme: You will always be the best
