The Mono No Aware Sorcerer

Sighing over spring blossoms and admiring the autumn moon, Jun Ming Yongyue recites haiku for the fading cherry blossoms and has no choice but to pack his bags and enroll at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School.

No, no, no, he absolutely did not enroll because he failed math. He did it for the greater good, the greater good.

How can something as ugly as a curse exist in this world? From this day on, his life's ambition is to exterminate every curse!

But his noble cause and ideals came to an end the moment he unfolded his domain. Is the end of mono no aware really just getting wrecked ahead of schedule?!

He absolutely refuses to let such an ugly fate shatter his beautiful state of mind.

WTW: I can understand jujutsu sorcerers being a little crazy.

XYJ: No, he's just a beauty lover.

Shoko: Worse than having two trashy classmates is getting a brain-dead guy who cares even more about beauty than this young lady.

A few things to know before reading:

1. Mainly Jujutsu Kaisen; other series are just background.

2. Gojo/Geto pairing; the male lead is their best friend.

3. Lots of personal worldbuilding, so it's bound to be out of character. There will be onmyoji and deity systems. Don't read if that's not your thing.

4. The author was inspired to start writing after getting wrecked. If I write something I shouldn't, let's part on good terms.

Theme: The instinct to survive is human nature
