Pale Green Lover

This is a fantastical world. Cursed spirits born from humanity's malice rampage across the land, a pit in the Slabtown buries the lives of ten thousand people, a mysterious bottle of liquor sparks a storm of bloodshed, and a strange fragrance drifts from a pet shop in Chinatown.

How insignificant she and her light-green beloved are in such a world!

In the summer of 1990, the weather was damp and rainy, and the heat spread through the air. A light-green boy decided to become a hero, live forever in people's memories, and then die.

The girl he loved, Hayami Kurenai, could never leave behind that rain-soaked season.

[Notes:]

1. A short story to practice writing. I'm trying a strange, artsy style with my own peculiar wording, and hope I can finish it.

2. The male lead is Kushimori Shuichi from Blue Blaze, and the female lead is Hayami Kurenai. The setting is the next generation of Glass Mask. I love Blue Blaze so much that I wrote this, and it includes a lot of content from the original.

3. The first part is boy meets girl. The second part takes place N years later, when the heroine tells their story on a late-night radio show. Countless villains toss and turn, thinking to themselves: This woman gets me so damn well!

4. Gide has been greatly expanded and changed, combining plot elements from The Narrow Road with real-life French-African relations. Geto Suguru's characterization has also been changed. I like melancholic, unhinged villains, but his outward behavior isn't as extreme. Dazai, Chuuya, and Hagiwara Kenji are the main supporting characters.

Theme: Blue Blaze is the best!
