The Third Year of Secretly Loving Him

Secret crush + winning her back + melodramatic Mary Sue tropes

Ye Tingting has had a crush on Qin Chi for three years. But he's her boss and she's his employee, so she can only admire him from afar.

Until one day, Qin Chi suddenly hands her the advertising campaign for the company's newly developed product. Then he asks her for a favor: he has a party that evening and hopes she'll come as his date!

It's hard not to read too much into it. Why did he give her the advertising campaign in particular? With so many female employees at the company, why did he choose her as his date?

Could he like her too? Ye Tingting's heart pounds wildly!

And so the two of them get caught up in a complicated relationship.

But later, she learns that he has a childhood friend and neighbor, a younger sister figure. She's the one he truly cares about.

He did all of this just to make Lin Si jealous of him. Ye Tingting was nothing but a catalyst for someone else's romance.
