Plot Version

In the first year after Fu Qi faked his death, he found a desolate planet and set out to build something great;

In the second year, he drew up plans, assembled a team, and recruited subordinates;

In the third year, he became the most powerful force on the planet;

In the fourth year, everything proceeded steadily;

In the fifth year, after years of preparation, it was time to act. He decided to declare war on the Empire and prove to the old fossils in the Senate that fourth-class citizens had rights, too.

But things didn't go quite as planned. In the fifth year, unusual activity on the desolate planet caught the attention of the Empire's top brass, and Major General Xia Shiyan was sent to investigate.

And so, every plan now included someone who shouldn't have been there.

When Fu Qi moved in secret, Xia Shiyan covered for him. When Fu Qi was trapped, he stayed by his side. When Fu Qi fought his way to the Central Star, Xia Shiyan was one of the main forces at his side.

Fu Qi: Do you even remember you're a major general of the Empire?

Xia Shiyan accepted a mission and tried every means to get close to Jun Ye.

Everyone around him warned that Jun Ye was dangerous, and that if necessary, he could be killed to prevent future trouble.

One day, Xia Shiyan found Jun Ye cornered by pursuers. His slender frame staggered, looking fragile and helpless. The blade in Xia Shiyan's raised hand veered away, and he instinctively stepped in to shield him.

After that, he had countless chances to strike, yet found it harder and harder to bring himself to do it.

Trapped on the desolate planet, Jun Ye had lost too much blood, while outside, soldiers searched everywhere for them.

To keep him conscious, Xia Shiyan held him close and talked about the past all night. In the end, with nothing left to say, he could only open up old wounds and tell him about that unrequited love that never went anywhere, and the crush named Fu Qi who had died.

At last, Xia Shiyan licked his dry lips and looked at him cautiously. "You won't be mad that you weren't my first love, will you?"
