[The premise probably won't change again, but the blurb might get another revision]
The day Tang Yin was kicked out of his home, he lost his only valuable possession: his phone, which held countless ideas and drafts in its notes app.
With no other choice, he used the little money he had earned from writing to buy a new phone, signed into the same account, and synced his notes.
To make a living, he tried his hand at writing fiction, but his work was rejected on the grounds that it was too bland and had no readability at all.
Left with no other options, Tang Yin decided to find a fantasy object first to get himself in the mood to write.
He found one quickly: the head of Yuncheng's most powerful family.
The young family head, He Zheng, was tall and handsome, with an air of restrained elegance.
Staring at his photo, inspiration struck Tang Yin. He furiously wrote ten thousand words in his notes app in one sitting, and the story was accepted without a hitch.
The next day, the big shot moved in next door.
Tang Yin: ?
With his livelihood at stake, he could only keep pushing his luck and try to get close to the big shot.
He Zheng became his source of inspiration.
Maybe it was just his imagination, but Tang Yin always felt that He Zheng was accommodating him despite that restrained look on his face.
When Tang Yin was struggling to describe muscles, He Zheng knocked on his door bare-chested.
When he was writing a scene involving formalwear, He Zheng invited him to dinner in a tailored suit.
When he was thinking about the right size, He Zheng invited him to join him at the pool.
The kinder He Zheng was to him, the guiltier Tang Yin felt. In the end, he deleted every outline and idea from his notes app and prepared to move away.
But on moving day, He Zheng stopped him at the door.
With an impassive expression, He Zheng held up Tang Yin's old phone, unlocked it, leaned closer, and gently waved it in front of him.
On the screen was the synced notes app.
But its contents had been completely deleted by the phone's owner.
His gaze darkened as he asked, "Why did you delete it?"
Caught by the real-life inspiration for his character, Tang Yin kept a straight face. "I was just making stuff up."
He Zheng nodded, his gaze sweeping over Tang Yin. "True. My stamina isn't as bad as you wrote it."
Later, when Tang Yin could only brace a foot against He Zheng and tell him to stop moving,
He Zheng bent down to kiss the corner of his eye, his movements gentle, but his refusal unmistakable. "There are still five more."
Tang Yin: ...
He would never write so many scenes like that again!
An older-man sweet romance. In the story, both parties are willing and eager.
