Youxi is an orphan who studies supernatural phenomena. No matter how bizarre the problem she encounters, she can always find the "correct" explanation using scientific methods.
While investigating a ghostly aviation case, Youxi gets caught up in another world.
She sees all kinds of horrifying and bizarre scenes.
Her colleagues: breaking down, crying, doing everything they can to survive.
Youxi, eyes shining, sincerely praises it: "This is a veritable ocean of knowledge!"
A little scene:
A: "Captain Youxi, it's so good to see you. I knew you'd come rescue us. Sob, sob..."
B: "Cut the chatter. Hurry up and get her to take us out of this hellhole."
Youxi looks at the little stray dog wagging its tail so hard it might fall off, and the angry copper bell around its neck. A flicker of sympathy crosses her mind. "How about we finish the mission first? Otherwise, you might not even get to be a dog anymore."
The little dog's white paws flex and stretch. "When we get back to the human world, please don't tell them I was a dog."
The copper bell sways along with it. "Me neither."
Youxi crouches down. "There's nothing embarrassing about being a bell."
The little dog's drooping gaze meets hers. It bares its tiny milk teeth. "Does Captain think being a dog is embarrassing?"
"A Kai, don't be so sensitive." Youxi earnestly studies the little dog, who is frowning. "I firmly believe that all species are equal."
"Then why are you human and I'm a dog?" The little dog shakes its fluffy ears. "And my name isn't A Kai."
Youxi: "..."
