I’m the universally hated, wicked second female lead, while my half-sister Chu Wanying is the heroine of a tragic romance.
When the Prince of Zhennan forced himself on her, our whole family was facing confiscation of our property and exile. It was all because she had refused him to the death, and he took out his anger on us.
Everyone in the household resented her, and Father cursed her.
[She really is a jinx. I should have drowned her as soon as she was born.]
I had been frail and sickly since childhood, and my body was already at its limit.
As my consciousness faded, my half-sister’s face drifted through my mind.
I remembered that she hadn’t always been like this...
Suddenly, inspiration struck, and a voice rang out in my mind.
[Congratulations, Host...]
[You are now bound to the Redemption System. Redemption target: Chu Wanying.]
Theme: May a tiny firefly’s light shine bright for her
