[Genshin Impact] Water Dragon, Water Dragon, Don't Cry!

A Furina and Neuvillette story~ Amnesia trope.

Probably sweet, not angsty.

Blurb:

The moment her people declared her "guilty," it meant she could finally put an end to the farce that had lasted 180,000 days.

Behind the stage admired by all was a soul bearing its loneliness alone, with no one to ask after it.

The girl who had played the Hydro Archon for five hundred years stepped down from her divine station. No one could remember what she had done. They only remembered that the moment the blade fell at the guillotine, an unprecedented storm washed everything away.

"O shell lying still on the beach, can you answer me? Did all the suffering I endured have meaning?"

The lonely girl often crouched by the sea and asked the shells.

"The tragedy of suffering has come to an end. I, too, was once captivated by your performance. I hope this 'affection' is not false."

Looking back, the one who answered her was not a shell, but the great water dragon who could always stand behind her...

A few notes before reading:

I'm an angst writer, so this might not be very sweet. But for Furina, I'll do my best to make it sweet. Don't cry if it isn't, okay?

Theme: Love makes the soul resilient
