His nemesis emerged from the smoke, long, narrow black eyes glinting, a red beauty mark between his brows lending him a saintly air.

His vivid lips parted. "Tie him up for me and execute him immediately!"

Luo Xikui: ???

Is that what being madly in love means?!

His fellow inmate vanished into the chaos, leaving Luo Xikui to stand there in bewilderment.

...Oh, right, he wasn't alone. There was also a child under five beside him.

Of course, federal law was thorough, so Luo Xikui wasn't executed on the spot. He was taken back for questioning.

With his hands cuffed, Luo Xikui sat alone in the interrogation room, looking despondent.

Before long, the commander opened the door and came in to question him personally.

He didn't ask anything else. He tossed down a child's file and glared. "Where did you get this kid?"

The commander was so beautiful that Luo Xikui's heart fluttered. He thought, He asked me that kind of question. He really does love me!

He explained solemnly, "I swear, the kid isn't mine!"

The commander slapped down a paternity test, making him eat his words.

Fine. The romance is over.

But what really ended Luo Xikui's love was the moment he learned, after being recruited by the government, that the commander was an Alpha too.
