The Occasional Rain

Marry First, Love Later | Strangers in Public | Kissing Passionately in Private | Reunited After a Breakup Gentle, cool-headed employee X Steady, calculating man in power 1- After graduation, Song Shiwei married her high school classmate, Xie Yuzhou. By then, Xie Yuzhou had become the general manager who skillfully steered the group, while she was an ordinary planner at the company. No one knew that seven years earlier, she and he had spent an entire night tangled together. When his friends learned Xie Yuzhou was married, they warned him not to fall for the same person twice. The dignified man replied with certainty, "I won't. I'm here to collect a debt." Song Shiwei thought Xie Yuzhou had accepted her proposal because he wanted revenge for her vanishing without a word seven years ago. But married life turned out to be beyond anything she could have imagined. Xie Yuzhou refused to sign a prenup and insisted they have sex three times every two days to build their relationship. Since they worked at the same company, the two agreed to keep their marriage secret. At a company press conference, a business partner tried to offer Xie Yuzhou a drink. The man glanced discreetly toward Song Shiwei and politely declined. "My wife and I are trying for a baby." When asked which wealthy family the "Mrs. Xie" came from, the usually distant man showed a rare tenderness. "My wife is very capable. She's at a crucial stage in her career, so we're keeping her identity private for now." Xie Yuzhou would come rushing home from a thousand miles away to coax her to sleep just because she sent him a message saying, [I miss you so much]. He was practically the perfect husband. 2- Later, at a company outing, someone brought up exes. Song Shiwei smiled and answered, "No one. I've never dated." She didn't realize Xie Yuzhou had heard her. A torrential rain poured over Nancheng as they returned home late at night. Xie Yuzhou forcefully clasped Song Shiwei's wrist and pulled her into his arms. His eyes darkened as he claimed every breath she had. As their passion intensified, their entwined bodies rose and fell. Song Shiwei's hands were cuffed, just as they had been that night seven years ago, and she spent the whole night parched and drained. Xie Yuzhou kissed away the tears at the corners of her eyes again and again. "Shi Shi, tell me you love me. Tell me you've always loved me." After all these years, he still couldn't forget how much he loved her. Extra scene One day, Song Shiwei and Xie Yuzhou were in the middle of an argument when the man suddenly kissed her. "Your mouth is for kissing me, not for making me angry." "I can't imagine spending the rest of my life without you after seven years of living without you." "I don't want to settle. I don't want to forget. I only want you." Theme: Study hard and keep improving every day
