[Honor of Kings in another world + romance + transmigration System + conspiracy + ensemble cast of heroes + KPL]
Shen Lan never dreamed that one day...
A hero from a game would hold a blade to his throat.
That night, he was still an ordinary high school student in the real world.
By day, he buried himself in mountains of homework. At night, he clutched his phone and fought in the Rift.
He thought the heroes, the battles, and the stories were nothing more than a virtual carnival.
Until he opened his eyes again.
Icy seawater poured into his mouth and nose. The sky above an unfamiliar continent loomed overhead.
A young man with twin blades pressed one against his neck.
"Who are you?"
A little girl clutching a hujia lute peered at him cautiously from behind a wooden house.
Looking at that familiar face, Shen Lan finally realized...
The King's Canyon was real.
In the depths of despair, the Godlike King System awakened.
[Earn a hero's favor and inherit their power.]
[Obtain divine-grade equipment and share it across dimensions.]
From then on, Shen Lan had the power to connect two worlds.
In the real world, he was an ordinary boy who kept his talents hidden, as well as a prodigy who burst onto the esports scene.
In the other world, he entered the ancient city of Chang'an and witnessed the Empress's glorious reign; ventured deep into the Yunzhong Desert to seek lost ruins; joined the Great Wall Garrison in facing a tide of demon beasts; and traveled to Jixia Academy to uncover the ultimate secrets of magic and technology.
The heroes he had once been able to admire only through a screen gradually became companions at his side.
The cold-blooded assassin, the lonely guardian, the Empress who ruled the realm, the scholar in search of truth...
Each had a past of their own, and an obsession they couldn't let go.
Yet as the two worlds grew ever more intertwined, a conspiracy hidden for a thousand years began to emerge.
Someone wanted to harness the power of both worlds to awaken an ancient god from its slumber.
And traces of the Honor of Kings continent began appearing in the real world, too.
When the dimensional barriers shattered, the fates of the two worlds became intertwined.
Shen Lan finally understood...
The power he'd gained wasn't meant to change the world.
It was the responsibility of protecting the people who mattered to him.
From an ordinary boy to a godlike champion connecting two worlds.
In this match, he'll win to the very end alongside the heroes he once admired.
