Rei Furuya woke from a dream and found himself looking at an FBI agent who was in the middle of faking his death.
And the two of them were locked inside a place that looked like a theater.
A contract out of nowhere, and forced signing they couldn't refuse. What kind of joke was this?
But there was no choice. For everyone's safety, they could only put on a show.
An absurd script, outrageous characterizations. Would this be the toughest test ever for undercover agents?
What is with these scripts?! - Rei Furuya, exasperated
These NPCs are way too out of character, aren't they? - Shuichi Akai asks
Meanwhile, in the cinema on the other side, Conan Edogawa stared at the Black Organization, eyes wide with shock.
Is there something you regret?
Is there a past you've tried to change?
Is there someone important you want to save?
Now, you are being given a chance to take the stage.
You who harbor an unfulfilled wish, welcome to the Parallel Theater.
The performance begins now.
In short, Rei Furuya and Shuichi Akai act alongside intelligent NPCs, while the Detective Conan cast watches, believing they're seeing a story from a parallel world.
The undercover agents' secret identities won't be exposed~
Everything shown to the audience is made up by me.
The characters are more or less equally put through the wringer, but nobody will act out of character in a way that makes them villains.
The unluckiest are probably Akai and Furuya, since they have to perform and are in almost every scene.
The viewing content has every kind of melodrama, perfect for anyone who can ship just about any couple~
At heart, it's all about misunderstandings.
Theme: It's only a small price to pay, just a little social embarrassment. Totally worth it!
