Red candlelight glows warmly, while outside the window, snow clings to the cold plum blossoms.
When Shen Tingbai is pinned down on a couch and kissed, he tilts his head back, utterly powerless to resist.
As Changwu Mountain's greatest swordsman, Shen Tingbai has extraordinary talent. In his youth, he wore white robes that fluttered in the wind, and when he wielded the Huichun Sword, his eyes seemed to hold snow and frost. He became a winter snowflake and moonbeam cherished by all of Changwu.
Yet this winter snow was set up by a villain, and through a twist of fate, ended up sharing a bed with his own disciple.
Shen Tingbai is neither happy nor sad. He takes the whip punishment meant for his disciple, Wen Yuanque, and walks into the snow in bloodstained robes. Ignoring Wen Yuanque's desperate pleas, he shuts himself away in the deepest part of Changheng Hall, refusing to see anyone.
But just as Shen Tingbai finally manages to suppress that flicker of affection in his heart, Wen Yuanque breaks through the ward and appears before him by force.
There is no longer any love or respect in his disciple's eyes. With a single stroke, his sword cuts through the wind and pierces Shen Tingbai's heart.
Agony tears through Shen Tingbai, body and soul. Yet in the end, he only lowers his eyes coldly and thinks, a little dazed, that Wen Yuanque seems to hate him so much.
So much that he would use forbidden arts, so much that he would shatter his soul with a single sword strike.
But after Shen Tingbai closes his eyes, weakened by the pain, he suddenly returns to the day he first met Wen Yuanque.
Shen Tingbai has forgotten many things. But whenever he dreams of Wen Yuanque at midnight, he always sees the obsession and devotion, regret and anguish in those eyes, enough to make anyone tremble with fear.
What a fierce little boy. Shen Tingbai thinks he ought to teach him to behave.
* A deranged, scheming, faux-obedient gong x a cool, frail, universally adored shou
* The shou suffered a serious injury as a child. Normally, he cuts down monsters like chopping vegetables, but when his old injuries flare up, he becomes somewhat frail. He can fight, but may cough up blood.
* Both are reborn, and the reason will be explained later. The shou will eventually recover all his memories from his previous life.
* Thanks for reading, kisses.
