The Insectoid's Unattainable Easy Life

A male insect who just wants to laze around but is forced to become a big shot x a strong, beautiful, flirtatious female insect who admires the strong (The numbered sections are just to distinguish the stages, not separate stories.)

Fang Huai transmigrated into an insect world. He was an A-class male insect, greatly revered by the empire, and could live in comfort by relying on a partner to support him.

The bad news: His target admired the strong and disliked useless male insects. No chance of living off someone else!

To win over Xiersius, he created a persona as a “strong, independent, and ambitious” insect.

He kept up his persona while regretting it, all the while sweet-talking his way toward a free ride. Maybe he'd get one after all?

Just as he was absorbed in his pursuit and every insect believed Xiersius had special feelings for him, Fang Huai was killed by Xiersius?!

Fang Huai approached Xiersius again, this time with an agenda. He acted out and went wild, venting his resentment from the previous world.

Xiersius wanted to leave the barren planet and reclaim his place at the top. Fang Huai was determined to make sure he didn't get his way.

Chasing affection was exhausting. Why not destroy everything together!

System: Only you and Xiersius are real. Everything else is data.

It turned out Fang Huai was merely a tool to awaken Xiersius, provoking intense feelings in him toward himself or others: greed, anger, delusion, love, and hatred.

If that's how it is, then I'll make you hate me.

In this life, Xiersius was frustrated and unfulfilled. His eyes red, he shouted furiously, “Fang Huai, I hate you.”

The mission progress surged forward, and Fang Huai earned the System's trust. He began taking part in building virtual worlds.

He and Xiersius experienced many worlds together. He had been Xiersius's first love, one they could never reconcile with after a falling-out; his most intimate betrayer; and his male insect older brother, with whom he shared a complicated love-hate relationship...

Fang Huai learned as eagerly as a starving man, honing himself in all kinds of roles. He was no longer the boy who had once dreamed of living off someone else.

He knew the System was no simple thing, and might have some greater conspiracy at play. But what could he do while being held captive?

Fang Huai had many questions, but no one to confide in. He could only grow up alone.

As the years passed, when he returned to this time and place once more, he couldn't help fleeing in panic.

But how long could he run?

They would meet again in the end. After many twists and turns, he finally completed his mission to win Xiersius over.

Reader's guide:

(1) One-on-one romance, strong top and strong bottom. The bottom is powerful in both body and mind, and won't fall to his knees at a male insect's suit trousers because of pheromones or mental strength. He does not need to be saved.

(2) A fictional setting unrelated to reality. Please don't draw parallels with real life.

Yet the refined, aloof prince in media reports would come home from work and cling to Noer, demanding kisses and cuddles and refusing to let go until he got them.

Who could have imagined that the prince, so chaste and forbidding at the military headquarters during the day, would...
